Provided by Martha Stewart

Categories     Food & Cooking     Appetizers

Yield Makes 2 1/2 cups

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar or white-wine vinegar
4 anchovy fillets, finely chopped
1 small garlic clove, minced
3 scallions, chopped
3 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
3 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

1 cup sour cream
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
Assorted crudites, for serving

  • Process 1/2 cup mayonnaise, the vinegar, anchovies, garlic, scallions, and herbs in a food processor until combined.
  • Whisk in remaining 1/2 cup mayonnaise and the sour cream; season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate 1 hour (up to 4 days).

Tips:

  • Choose fresh, high-quality ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will greatly impact the flavor of your dip. Use fresh herbs, crisp vegetables, and succulent shrimp.

  • Chill the dip before serving: This will allow the flavors to meld and the dip to thicken slightly.
  • Serve with a variety of dippers: This dip is perfect for serving with grilled shrimp, vegetables, crackers, or chips.

Conclusion:

Green goddess dip is a delicious and versatile dip that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With its creamy, herbaceous flavor and vibrant green color, green goddess dip is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
