Tips:

  • Choose fresh, firm catfish fillets: Look for fillets that are opaque and have a slight sheen. Avoid fillets that are brown or discolored, as these may be old or spoiled.
  • Soak the catfish fillets in milk: This helps to remove any fishy odor and tenderize the fish.
  • Use a flavorful marinade: A simple marinade made with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs is a great way to add flavor to the catfish.
  • Grill the catfish fillets over medium heat: This will help to prevent the fish from sticking to the grill and will also allow it to cook evenly.
  • Cook the catfish fillets until they are opaque and flaky: The fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve the catfish fillets immediately: Serve the fillets hot off the grill with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables, rice, or potatoes.
