Steps:
- Heat a griddle or large nonstick saute pan over medium heat. Put butter on griddle to melt (do not use all of the butter if doing this in batches), then place bread on griddle, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture, and flip; cook for a few seconds so cinnamon sugar adheres. Flip bread back over and spread with chocolate hazelnut spread. Arrange sliced bananas on top and then sprinkle with hazelnuts. Cook until just melted and then combine the slices to make 4 sandwiches. Serve warm with whole strawberries on the side.
GRILLED BANANA AND NUTELLA PANINI
Steps:
- Place the bananas in a bowl and mash until smooth.
- Place the slices of bread on a flat surface and spread each slice with some of the hazelnut spread. Spread the mashed banana over 6 of the slices and combine the slices to make 6 sandwiches.
- Heat the grill to medium-high.
- Spread 1 side of each sandwich with some of the butter and place on the grill, buttered-side down. Grill until golden brown. Spread the remaining butter on the bread facing up, flip over and continue grilling until golden brown. Remove from the grill and sprinkle with the confectioners' sugar. Eat immediately.

Steps:
- Heat griddle.
- Lightly spread butter on the outsides of two slices of bread.
- Spread Nutella on the inside and sandwich together.
- Grill 2 mins per side.
- Slice in half
- Serve warm.
Tips:
- Choosing the Right Bread: Opt for a sturdy bread that can withstand the heat of the grill without becoming too soggy. Thick-sliced sourdough, French bread, or ciabatta are great options.
- Generous Spread of Nutella: Don't be shy with the Nutella! Spread it liberally on both slices of bread to ensure a rich, chocolatey flavor in every bite.
- Quality Bananas: Use ripe but firm bananas for the best texture and flavor. Overripe bananas can become too mushy when grilled.
- Proper Grilling Technique: Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly grease the grates to prevent sticking. Grill the sandwich for a few minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the Nutella is melted and bubbly.
- Optional Add-Ons: Feel free to customize your sandwich with additional ingredients like peanut butter, sliced strawberries, or a drizzle of honey.
Conclusion:
The grilled Nutella and banana sandwich is a delightful and indulgent treat that combines the classic flavors of chocolate and banana with the smoky, caramelized goodness of grilled bread. It's a perfect snack or dessert that can be enjoyed anytime. With its ease of preparation and endless variations, this sandwich is sure to become a favorite among Nutella and banana enthusiasts. Whether you're craving a sweet and savory snack or a unique dessert, the grilled Nutella and banana sandwich is sure to satisfy your taste buds.
