Tips:

  • Choose fresh swordfish steaks: Look for steaks that are firm to the touch and have a mild, briny smell. Avoid steaks that are slimy or have a strong fishy odor.
  • Marinate the swordfish: Marinating the swordfish in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs helps to infuse it with flavor and keep it moist during grilling.
  • Grill the swordfish over medium heat: This will help to prevent the fish from overcooking and becoming dry.
  • Cook the swordfish until it is just opaque in the center: Overcooking will make the fish tough and dry. A good way to check if the fish is done is to insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the steak. The fish should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve the swordfish immediately: Grilled swordfish is best served immediately after it is cooked. You can serve it with a variety of sides, such as grilled vegetables, rice, or potatoes.

Conclusion:

Grilled swordfish with coriander lime butter is a delicious and healthy meal that is perfect for a summer cookout. The fish is moist and flavorful, and the coriander lime butter adds a bright and citrusy flavor. This recipe is easy to follow and can be made in under 30 minutes. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give this grilled swordfish recipe a try!
