Tips:

  • Choose fresh tilapia fillets. Look for fillets that are firm and have a mild, fresh smell. Avoid fillets that are slimy or have a strong fishy odor.
  • Pat the tilapia fillets dry before cooking. This will help the seasoning to adhere to the fish and prevent it from sticking to the grill.
  • Season the tilapia fillets generously with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. You can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or cumin.
  • Grill the tilapia fillets over medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. The fish is cooked through when it flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve the grilled tilapia fillets immediately with your favorite sides. Some popular sides include roasted vegetables, rice, or quinoa.

Conclusion:

Grilled tilapia with smoked paprika is a delicious and healthy dish that is easy to make. The smoked paprika gives the fish a slightly smoky flavor that pairs well with the mild flavor of the tilapia. This dish is also a good source of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamins and minerals.
