Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients, especially the Gruyère cheese, to ensure the best flavor.
  • Make sure the butter is cold and cut into small pieces before adding it to the dough, as this will help create a flaky texture.
  • If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, one tablespoon at a time, until it comes together and forms a ball.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling it out, as this will make it easier to work with.
  • Brush the dough with an egg wash before baking to give it a golden brown color.
  • Serve the bread warm, with your favorite soup or salad.

This Gruyère bread ring is a delicious and versatile bread that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's perfect for a special occasion or a casual get-together. With its flaky crust and cheesy, flavorful interior, this bread is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
