JAN'S HAM AND EGG BREAKFAST STRATA
This recipe was first served to me 35 years ago while up North snowmobiling with a number of families. Now it typically gets served Christmas morning and on Memorial Day weekend while up North with friends. This is always a crowd pleaser and makes great leftovers.

- Don't overbeat the eggs, as this will make the strata tough.
- Use a variety of cheeses to add flavor and texture to the strata. Cheddar, Gruyère, and Swiss are all good options.
- Add your favorite vegetables to the strata, such as spinach, broccoli, or bell peppers.
- Don't be afraid to experiment with different herbs and spices to flavor the strata.
- Cover the strata with foil before baking to prevent it from drying out.
- Let the strata rest for at least 15 minutes before serving, to allow it to set.
