1 can(s) cream of celery soup
8 oz sour cream
1/2 c mayo
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 tsp curry
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 stick butter
2 c shredded swiss cheese
pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Boil linguine until al dente. Meanwhile in large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, mayo, butter, and spices. Stir. Add ham, onion, and swiss cheese. Stir to blend. Drain linguine and pour in mixture. Stir to blend and all linguine is covered well.
  • 2. Pour all in a greased 9x13 dish. Bake covered in a 350 degree pre-heated oven for 45 minutes.

Tips for Making the Best Ham and Swiss Linguine:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Start with fresh, flavorful ingredients to ensure the best-tasting dish. Look for high-quality ham, Swiss cheese, and linguine pasta.
  • Cook the linguine al dente: Cook the linguine according to the package instructions, but be careful not to overcook it. Al dente pasta has a slightly firm bite and will hold up better in the sauce.
  • Make a creamy sauce: The creamy sauce is what brings this dish together. Use a combination of heavy cream, milk, and grated Parmesan cheese to create a rich, flavorful sauce.
  • Season the sauce to taste: Don't be afraid to season the sauce to your liking. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste until the sauce is flavorful and well-balanced.
  • Add the ham and Swiss cheese at the end: Once the sauce is cooked, stir in the diced ham and shredded Swiss cheese. Heat the mixture until the cheese is melted and the ham is warmed through.
  • Serve immediately: Ham and Swiss linguine is best served immediately. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for a finishing touch.

Conclusion:

Ham and Swiss linguine is a classic dish that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. With its creamy sauce, flavorful ham, and gooey Swiss cheese, this dish is sure to be a hit with everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give ham and Swiss linguine a try. You won't be disappointed!
