Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the tortilla roll-ups will taste. Look for ripe avocados, crisp lettuce, and flavorful tomatoes.
  • Make sure the tortillas are pliable: If the tortillas are too stiff, they will crack when you roll them up. To soften them, you can wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave them for a few seconds or heat them in a skillet over low heat.
  • Don't overfill the tortillas: If you put too much filling in the tortillas, they will be difficult to roll up and may fall apart. Aim for a thin layer of filling that will evenly distribute throughout the tortilla.
  • Be careful not to overcook the tortilla roll-ups: If you cook them for too long, they will become dry and tough. Cook them just until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are slightly browned.

Conclusion:

Ham Appetillas Tortilla Roll-Ups are a fun and easy appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. They are made with simple ingredients that can be easily found at your local grocery store. The tortilla roll-ups can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator, making them a great option for busy weeknights. They are also a great way to use up leftover ham.
