Time 43m

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 12 count package slider rolls
3/4 pound ham, thinly sliced
3/4 pound gouda cheese, sliced
1 stick butter, melted
2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9X13 inch baking pan with foil, and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Open the rolls from their package, slide out the tray, and slice them in half, where you have all their tops in one "sheet", and all their bottoms in one "sheet". Place the bottoms in their sheet like form in the prepared baking dish.
  • Layer half of the roast beef on the rolls. Then layer all of the cheese. Top cheese with remaining half of ham. Top with the sheet of the tops. Set aside.
  • Melt the butter in a small microwave safe bowl, about a minute. Whisk in the Worcestershire Sauce, mustard, poppy seeds, onion, salt, and pepper. Evenly pour this over the tops of the rolls. Cover with foil, and allow to rest (soak of the goodies!) for 10 minutes.
  • Bake covered for 20 minutes, remove the foil, and bake for another 5 to 8 minutes. Slice into individual sliders, and serve!

Tips for Making the Best Ham and Gouda Sliders

1. Choose high-quality ingredients: Use fresh, thinly sliced ham and Gouda cheese. Look for a good-quality hoagie roll or slider bun that will hold up well when toasted. 2. Make the honey mustard sauce ahead of time: This will allow the flavors to meld and develop. You can make it up to 3 days in advance and store it in the fridge. 3. Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the ham and cheese sliders, make sure to leave some space between them so that they can cook evenly. 4. Toast the buns before assembling the sliders: This will help them to hold up better and give them a nice, crispy texture. 5. Serve the sliders hot and fresh: These sliders are best enjoyed right out of the oven. If you're making them ahead of time, you can reheat them in the oven or microwave until warmed through.

Conclusion

Ham and Gouda sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or party food. They're perfect for game day, potlucks, or any other gathering. With their sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce, they're sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy recipe, give these ham and Gouda sliders a try!
