1 pound extra lean Ground Beef
1 medium Onion, chopped
4-6 ounces fresh Mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried Herbs

Top with the broccoli in a single layer, followed by the cheese. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes or until hot throughout.

Tips:

  • Choose lean ground beef: This will help reduce the fat content of the casserole and make it healthier.
  • Use fresh broccoli: Fresh broccoli will have a more vibrant color and flavor than frozen broccoli.
  • Season the meat and vegetables well: This will help bring out the flavor of the dish.
  • Don't overcook the broccoli: Broccoli should be cooked until it is tender but still has a slight crunch.
  • Use a good quality cheese: The cheese will help bind the casserole together and add flavor.
  • Serve the casserole hot: This will help the cheese melt and the casserole will be more enjoyable to eat.
