Steps:
- 1. Pre-heat oven at 400. In a bowl, mix the meat, garlic and green onion. Then add the the mirin, soy sauce, egg and mix. Then add the panko bread crumbs last. Mix well. Form in any shape and form. I usually form mine in about 1" - 1.5". Depending on how big you make them, 1/2 lbs will serve 1-2 people.
- 2. Place it in a pan and sear both sides, then finish it in the oven for about 10 min or until throughly cooked.
- 3. For Curry, I use "Golden Curry". You can buy it at the store. Follow the directions on the box. [OPTIONAL] I add unsweetened apple sauce for an apple flavor. I also like mine spicy, if you do too, then you can add a pinch of paprika.
Tips:
- Choose the right ground beef: Use a blend of 80% lean and 20% fat for a juicy and flavorful hamburger.
- Season the beef generously: Use a combination of salt, pepper, and your favorite spices to create a flavorful burger.
- Don't overwork the beef: Overworking the beef will make it tough. Mix the ingredients together gently and form it into patties.
- Cook the burgers over medium heat: This will help prevent the burgers from drying out.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness: The internal temperature should be 160°F for medium-rare, 165°F for medium, and 170°F for well-done.
- Let the burgers rest for a few minutes before serving: This will help the juices redistribute throughout the burger.
- Serve the burgers on toasted buns with your favorite toppings: Classic toppings include cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
Conclusion:
The hamburger curry is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful and satisfying curry that the whole family will enjoy. Experiment with different toppings and sides to find your perfect combination.
