1 (19 ounce) can kidney beans with liquid
1 (19 ounce) can pineapple chunks with juice
1 cup ketchup
½ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons ground mustard
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook the onion in the hot oil until softened, about 5 minutes. Crumble the ground beef into the skillet and cook and stir until completely browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain.

24 dinner rolls, such as King's Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1/2 cup salad dressing spread, such as Miracle Whip
Hot sauce, to taste
24 thin slices deli roast beef
12 slices pepper Jack cheese
1 stick butter
1 tablespoon lemon pepper
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
6 dashes Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Slice the rolls in half and place the bottoms in a single layer in a 9-by-13-inch dish.

1/2 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 medium onion, halved and sliced
1/3 cup sliced celery
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
2 teaspoons butter
1 can (8 ounces) unsweetened pineapple chunks
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • In a small skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain and set aside. In the same skillet, saute the onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in butter until crisp-tender, 5 minutes. , Drain pineapple, reserving juice; set pineapple aside. 1 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 pound skirt steak (sliced very thin (carne asada works GREAT))

Steps:

  • Mix together all ingredients, excluding beef. Set aside about 1/2 cup of the sauce, cover and refrigerate.
  • Place beef in a Ziploc bag and pour marinade over. Press out all the air, seal, and marinate for at least 6 hours (overnight works great).
  • Over prepared grill on medium-high heat, grill steak a minute or two on each size until cooked to your desired doneness (with the steak being so thin, you don't have to grill it for too long).

6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons rosemary, minced
2 teaspoons cracked black pepper

1/2 cup dry red wine
1 cup tomato paste
1 tablespoon sugar
