HAWAIIAN-STYLE SAUSAGE AND RICE
I used to work where we had a lot of potluck lunches. I just brought the ingredients, already prepared, a rice cooker, and an electric frying pan. I would start the rice about 20 minutes before lunch and cook the rest in the frying pan while everyone else was uncovering and setting out their dishes. My copy of the recipe is getting so tattered I felt I better archive it. I would sorely miss it if lost.

Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the fried rice will be. Use fresh vegetables, high-quality protein, and a flavorful sauce.
- Cook the rice ahead of time. This will help the rice to firm up and make it easier to fry.
- Use a large wok or skillet. This will help the rice to cook evenly.
- Heat the wok or skillet over high heat. This will help the rice to get crispy.
- Add the rice to the wok or skillet and spread it out evenly. Do not stir the rice too much, as this will prevent it from getting crispy.
- Let the rice cook for 2-3 minutes, or until it is golden brown and crispy.
- Add the vegetables, protein, and sauce to the wok or skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the protein is cooked through.
- Serve the fried rice immediately.
