Easiest Glazed Carrots and Apples image

This a quick, easy side that goes great with any meat, poultry or fish. I use reduced fat margarine and Splenda brown sugar for a healthier dish. Tastes great and no one will even know it's healthy!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 bag(s) baby carrots, approximately 12 oz.
1 granny smith apple, cored and diced
1/2 tsp gourmet salt blends rosemary lemon & roasted garlic salt
1/4 c butter or margarine, cubed
1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Toss whole baby carrots, diced apple and salt together in a 8x8 glass baking dish.
  • 2. Dot with butter cubes. Sprinkle cinnamon and then brown sugar over all.
  • 3. Seal tightly with foil and bake at 350 in center of oven for one hour.
