Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your muffins will be. If your bananas are not ripe enough, you can ripen them quickly by placing them in a paper bag with an apple for a day or two.
  • Mash the bananas well. This will help to ensure that they are evenly distributed throughout the muffins and that they do not create large lumps.
  • Use whole wheat flour. Whole wheat flour is a healthier option than white flour and it will give your muffins a more nutty flavor.
  • Add a little bit of cinnamon. Cinnamon is a classic spice that pairs perfectly with bananas. It will add a warm and cozy flavor to your muffins.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter will make your muffins tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the muffins in a preheated oven. This will help to ensure that they rise evenly and that they do not stick to the pan.
  • Let the muffins cool completely before serving. This will help them to set and will make them easier to handle.

Conclusion:

These healthier banana crumb muffins are a delicious and nutritious way to start your day. They are made with whole wheat flour, ripe bananas, and a touch of cinnamon. They are also topped with a sweet and crunchy crumb topping. These muffins are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. They are also a great way to use up ripe bananas.
