Tips:
- To save time, use refrigerated pie crusts instead of making your own. Just be sure to thaw them according to the package directions before using.
- If you don't have a Dutch oven, you can use a large pot with a lid. Just be sure that the pot is large enough to hold all of the ingredients comfortably.
- Be sure to cook the kielbasa and vegetables until they are browned. This will help to develop their flavor and make the filling more flavorful.
- If you like a thicker filling, add an extra tablespoon or two of cornstarch to the gravy mixture.
- Serve the pie hot with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.
Conclusion:
This hearty kielbasa pie is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The filling is packed with flavor, and the flaky crust is the perfect finishing touch. Whether you serve it with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad, this pie is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
