HONEY-BAKED BANANAS
I created this recipe one day out of desperation. We had invited guests for dinner, and about a half hour before they were due to arrive, I realized I had forgotten all about preparing a dessert! I discovered I had plenty of bananas on hand, so I "fancied" them up and baked them. It was a big hit! This is a great way to use up ripe bananas when you're getting weary of banana bread. -Claudette Mogle, Federal Way, Washington

Tips:
- Choose ripe, flavorful bananas. Overripe or bruised bananas will not hold their shape as well.
- Use a deep fryer or a large saucepan with at least 3 inches of oil for frying the bananas.
- Heat the oil to the correct temperature before adding the bananas. If the oil is not hot enough, the bananas will absorb too much oil and become greasy.
- Fry the bananas in small batches to prevent them from sticking together.
- Drain the bananas on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve the bananas immediately with your favorite toppings, such as honey, coconut, chocolate sauce, or ice cream.
Conclusion:
Honey coconut bananas are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. They are a good source of potassium and fiber, and they are also a good way to get your daily dose of fruit. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious and satisfying meal or snack that the whole family will love.
