1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bulk spicy pork sausage
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 can (11 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/3 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed olives
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 ounces wide noodles, cooked and drained

Steps:

  • In a large Dutch oven, cook the beef, sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in 1 cup cheese, green pepper, corn, soup, tomato sauce, olives, garlic, salt and noodles. , Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover and bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until bubbly. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

2 cups cooked chicken
1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
8 ounces sour cream (substitute plain yogurt for low fat version)
12 ounces mozzarella cheese (skim mozzarella for low fat version)
2 packages Ritz crackers
nonstick cooking spray

Steps:

  • Mix the first four ingredients together.
  • You can add a cooked vegetable to this to make a complete meal in one dish.
  • Crush the Ritz crackers.
  • Spray a casserole or baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Add 1/3 of Ritz crackers.
  • Put in half of chicken mixture.
  • Add 1/3 of Ritz crackers on top of chicken.
  • Put in the other half of chicken mixture and top with remaining Ritz crackers.
  • Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cups cooked chicken
8 ounces sour cream (or plain yogurt)
1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
8 ounces mozzarella cheese
2 packages Ritz crackers
1/4-1/2 cup butter
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Mix the the first four ingredients together.
  • Crush the crackers.
  • Melt butter, pour onto crackers and mix.
  • Place a layer of crackers, layer of chicken mixture, layer of crackers, layer of chicken, layer of crackers in a casserole dish (I usually spray it with non-stick spray first).
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • To make a low fat version use the yogurt instead of sour cream, use skim mozzarella and leave off the butter.
