HOT BEAN AND BACON DIP WITH AIR FRYER TORTILLA CHIPS
This is a great dip for game day, potlucks, or get-togethers. We serve it with air-fried tortilla chips. Leftovers are great (but you probably won't have any) in a flour tortilla for a bean and cheese burrito, or roll it in a corn tortilla for a quick taco.

Tips:
- Choose the right beans: Pinto beans, black beans, and kidney beans are all great choices for hot bean dip. You can use canned or dried beans, but if you're using dried beans, be sure to soak them overnight before cooking.
- Cook the beans until they're tender: The beans should be soft enough to mash easily, but not so soft that they fall apart. If you're using canned beans, you can skip this step.
- Season the beans well: Use a combination of spices and herbs to flavor the beans. Common seasonings include chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder. You can also add fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley.
- Mash the beans: You can use a potato masher or a food processor to mash the beans. Leave some chunks of beans for texture, or mash them until they're completely smooth.
- Add cheese: Cheese is a classic addition to hot bean dip. Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and queso fresco are all popular choices. You can also use a combination of cheeses.
- Top with your favorite toppings: Some popular toppings for hot bean dip include sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and chopped tomatoes. You can also add a dollop of Greek yogurt or a sprinkle of crumbled bacon.
Conclusion:
Hot bean dip is a delicious and versatile dish that can be served as an appetizer, a main course, or a side dish. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy recipe, give hot bean dip a try. You won't be disappointed!
