3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)

2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
ground black pepper to taste
2 (16 ounce) packages frozen cut green beans
1 (2.8 ounce) can French-fried onions

Steps:

  • Crumble the pork sausage into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain grease, and set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

2 (15 ounce) cans cut green beans, with liquid
2 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes with juice
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 to 1-1/2 teaspoons salt

5 medium red potatoes, thinly sliced
1 package (1 pound) hot dogs, halved lengthwise and cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 medium onion, chopped

1 pound bacon
2 cans (20 ounces each) Bushes Baked Beans
Mustard on the side for dipping

Steps:

  • Take package of hot dogs and cut in half and then split length wise. Meanwhile cook bacon on low medium flame and cook until half way cooked, do not cook to a crisp.
  • When bacon is finished using same pan place hot dogs flat side down first and brown and then flip and brown on other side. Then open cans of baked beans and add one can and then layer hot dogs, then add the other can and layer bacon on top.
  • Put into oven 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes or until bacon becomes crisp. Let sit for 5 minutes and then serve.

1 large onion, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic
2 (28 ounce) cans baked beans

1/2 cup canned diced tomato (do not use the juice)

200g pack smoked dry-cured bacon lardons
4 tbsp sunflower oil
680g bottle passata
1 tbsp sweet smoked paprika
3 tbsp tomato purée
1 tbsp brown sugar
100g brown sauce
3 x 400g cans cannellini beans , drained and rinsed
6 eggs
piles of hot buttered toast , to serve

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Toss the chipolatas, bacon lardons and 1 tbsp of the oil together in a large roasting tin. Roast for 20-30 mins until everything is turning brown and crisp - you may want to tip off any liquid and stir it halfway. Use a fish slice to scrape up any stuck bits.
  • Whisk together the passata, paprika, tomato purée, sugar, brown sauce, 250ml water, a little salt and lots of pepper. Stir into the tin with the beans. Can be made 1 day ahead - cool first, tip into a plastic container, then chill.
  • Put the tin back in the oven and bake for another 20 mins until thickened and bubbling (add another 10 mins if cooking from chilled).
  • Turn off the oven but leave the tin in to keep warm while you fry the eggs. Heat the remaining oil in a large frying pan, crack in the eggs and fry them to your liking. Serve the fried eggs with the sausage bake and plenty of hot buttered toast.
