10 oz broccoli and/or cauliflower, frozen
3 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c chicken, chopped
2/3 c onion, chopped
1 1/3 c milk
3 eggs
3/4 c bisquick
salt & pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 400 degrees and grease pie pan
  • 2. Thaw broccoli and mix with 2 cups cheddar cheese, chicken and onions in pie pan
  • 3. Beat eggs, milk, bisquick, salt and pepper until smooth, pour inot plate
  • 4. Bake until knife inserted comes out clean (25-35 minutes)
  • 5. Top with remaining 1 cup cheese and bake until melted

1 lb broccoli, cut into medium-size florets
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup water
4 slightly beaten eggs
3 -4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (optional)
1 1/4 cups whole milk or 1 1/4 cups half-and-half
4 -6 drops hot sauce
salt and pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon fresh minced parsley
1 tablespoon fresh minced garlic (optional)
1 1/2 cups shredded swiss cheese
grated parmesan cheese, for topping

Steps:

  • Set oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 10-inch deep-dish pie plate.
  • Combine the broccoli, onion and 1/4 cup water in a saucepan; cover and cook over medium heat for 6 minutes, (don't overcook, cook only until just tender); drain thoroughly, dry VERY WELL with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, combine the next 9 ingredients (starting after the 1/4 cup water).
  • Mix in the broccoli/onion mixture; pour into a prepared 10-inch deep-dish pie plate.
  • Sprinkle with desired amount of Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until set.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes before serving-- yummy!
  • Note: if desired, this may be baked in an 11' x 7" baking pan, instead of a pie plate.

2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups chicken, cooked and cut up
2/3 cup onion, chopped
1 1/3 cups milk
3 eggs
3/4 cup Bisquick baking mix
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400F (205C).
  • Grease 10" pie plate.
  • Rinse broccoli under cold water to thaw, drain thoroughly.
  • Mix broccoli, cheese, chicken and onion in plate.
  • Beat baking mix, eggs, milk, salt and pepper in blender on HIGH until smooth (about 15 seconds).
  • Pour into plate.
  • Bake at 400F (205C) for 25 to 35 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake just until cheese is melted (about 1 to 2 minutes).
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes.

2 packages (10 ounce) frozen broccoli chopped
3 c shredded chedder cheese
2/3 c chopped onion
1 1/3 c milk
3 eggs
3/4 c buttermilk baking mix
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1. Grease pie tin .. Rinse Broccoli under cold water, drain well. mix broccoli 2 cups of cheese,onion in the tin.. beat milk eggs salt & pepper 15 seconds in a blender or hand mixer pour over broccoli in the tin bake 400 for 25-35 minutes until done.. sprinkle the rest of the cheese and serve
