2 eggs, beaten
¾ cup dry bread crumbs
¼ cup ketchup
1 teaspoon Italian-style seasoning
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs and ketchup. Season with Italian-style seasoning, oregano, basil, garlic salt, diced tomatoes and cheese. Press into a 9x5 inch loaf pan, and cover loosely with foil.

1 large egg
1/4 cup 2% milk
1/3 cup crushed saltines
3 tablespoons chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon rubbed sage

1/2 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat egg. Add the milk, cracker crumbs, onion, salt, sage and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. The original recipe was found in the 1998 edition of Taste of Home's " The Best of Country Cooking ".I did add alot of different ingredients that wasn't in the original, but I still wanted to thank Kim McMurl of Fargo, North Dakota for sending the original into them.Make sure to let meatloaf " rest " for a few minutes, so it won't fall apart when you slice it. 1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons dried onion flakes (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
