Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the cookies will taste. Use real butter, sugar, eggs, and flour.
  • Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This will help to incorporate air into the dough, making the cookies light and tender.
  • Gradually add the eggs, one at a time. This will help to prevent the dough from curdling.
  • Add the dry ingredients in three additions, alternating with the milk. This will help to prevent the dough from becoming too tough.
  • Do not overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help to firm up the dough and make it easier to handle.
  • Bake the cookies in a preheated oven. This will help to ensure that the cookies bake evenly.
  • Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving. This will help to prevent the cookies from sticking to each other.
