COFFEE KEOKE

I thought that I would put this out there, because I went out to eat last night at a Mexican restaurant and ordered this. You would think that if any place could make it a Mexican food place could because it is also known as 'Mexican' coffee; well the bartender had never heard of it and had to look it up in a bartender's book....

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 Tbsp brandy
1 Tbsp kahlua
1 Tbsp creme de cacao
1 c strongly brewed coffee
topped with sweetened whipped cream

Steps:

  • 1. Add all the ingredients to a cup of freshly brewed coffee

Tips:

  • Use freshly roasted coffee beans: Freshly roasted coffee beans have a more intense flavor and aroma than beans that have been sitting on the shelf for a while. If you can, buy your beans from a local roaster or order them online from a reputable source.
  • Grind your coffee beans just before brewing: Grinding your coffee beans just before brewing helps to preserve their flavor and aroma. If you grind your beans too far in advance, they will start to lose their flavor.
  • Use the right amount of coffee: The amount of coffee you use will depend on the type of coffee maker you are using and your personal preferences. A good starting point is to use about 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water.
  • Use the right water temperature: The ideal water temperature for brewing coffee is between 195 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit. If the water is too hot, it will extract too much bitterness from the coffee beans. If the water is too cold, it will not extract enough flavor from the beans.
  • Brew your coffee for the right amount of time: The brewing time will depend on the type of coffee maker you are using and your personal preferences. A good starting point is to brew your coffee for about 4 minutes.

Conclusion:

Following these tips will help you to brew a delicious cup of coffee at home. With a little practice, you will be able to make coffee that is just as good as, if not better than, what you get from a coffee shop. So experiment with different beans, grinds, and brewing methods until you find a combination that you love.
