CATNIP TUNA KITTY TREATS

Catnip Tuna Kitty Treats image

A treat for your cat. If you'd rather you can add the catnip to the recipe instead of rolling the balls in it. They like it either way. You can also adjust the amount of catnip based on how much your cat likes cat nip (mine are pigs).

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality tuna: Opt for tuna that is packed in water or oil, and avoid tuna packed in brine, as it contains more sodium.
  • Drain and flake the tuna: Before using the tuna in your recipes, drain it well and flake it with a fork to break it up into smaller pieces.
  • Add moisture: If you find that your tuna is too dry, you can add a little bit of mayonnaise, sour cream, or yogurt to help moisten it up.
  • Use a variety of flavors: Don't be afraid to experiment with different flavors when making tuna recipes. Some popular options include lemon, dill, capers, and celery.
  • Reheat tuna carefully: If you are reheating tuna, do so gently to avoid overcooking it and making it tough.

Conclusion:

Tuna is a versatile and affordable ingredient that can be used in a variety of recipes. With its mild flavor and firm texture, tuna is a great option for salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and more. Whether you are looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal or a more elaborate dish for a special occasion, there is sure to be a tuna recipe that you will enjoy. So next time you are looking for a delicious and healthy meal, reach for a can of tuna and get creative in the kitchen!
