KNEADERS TO DIE FOR STUFFING

Kneaders to Die for Stuffing image

If you live near a Kneaders bakery, their stuffing recipe is the way to go! Stuffing made with Asiago Cheese Croutons is out of this world! If you don't live near a Kneaders and can find Asaigo cheese bread to make your own croutons you will definately want to give this recipe a try. I do add to their original recipe, cooked pork sausage, but either way it is good! It takes about 3 pkgs of croutons for a 9 X 13. I am guessing it is 9 cups.

KNEADER'S POPPY SEED DRESSING RECIPE - (3.3/5)

Kneader's Poppy Seed Dressing Recipe - (3.3/5) image

Provided by bloomysgirl

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup red vinegar
1 tsp. poppy seeds
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground mustard

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients in blender and blend for 3 minutes.

Tips:

  • Choose the right bread: Stale bread is best for stuffing because it absorbs more liquid and results in a more flavorful stuffing. Look for hearty breads like sourdough, French bread, or Italian bread.
  • Dry the bread cubes thoroughly: This will help prevent the stuffing from becoming soggy. Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake them at a low temperature for about 15 minutes, or until they are dry and golden brown.
  • Sauté the vegetables: Sautéing the vegetables before adding them to the stuffing will help to caramelize them and bring out their flavors. Use a variety of vegetables, such as onions, celery, carrots, and mushrooms.
  • Use a flavorful broth: The broth is an important part of the stuffing, so use a flavorful broth that you enjoy. You can use chicken broth, turkey broth, or vegetable broth.
  • Add herbs and spices: Herbs and spices add flavor to the stuffing. Some common herbs and spices used in stuffing include sage, thyme, rosemary, and black pepper.
  • Bake the stuffing until it is golden brown: The stuffing should be baked until it is golden brown and heated through. This usually takes about 30 minutes.

Conclusion:

Kneader's stuffing is a delicious and versatile side dish that can be served with a variety of meals. With its hearty texture and flavorful ingredients, this stuffing is sure to be a hit at your next gathering. So next time you're looking for a side dish that is both delicious and easy to make, give Kneader's stuffing a try.
