Let casserole sit 5 mins before serving

Tips for Making Lattice Top Chicken:

  • Use a flavorful marinade. Marinating the chicken infuses it with flavor and helps to keep it moist during cooking.
  • Make sure the lattice is tight. A tight lattice will prevent the filling from spilling out during baking.
  • Bake the chicken until it is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius).
  • Let the chicken rest before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, resulting in a more flavorful and tender dish.

Conclusion:

Lattice top chicken is a classic dish that is perfect for any occasion. With its flavorful filling and flaky crust, it is sure to be a hit with everyone at the table. Whether you are making it for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion, lattice top chicken is a dish that is sure to impress.
