Yield 8-12 people

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 small boxes of Jello, any flavor
4 envelopes of Knox Gelatin
4 cups boiling water
2 c. heavy cream

Steps:

  • Combine 1 box Jello and 1 packet gelatin in bowl. Dissolve in boiling water. Add 1/2 c. heavy cream and stir until well mixed. Pour into a 9x13-inch pan and refrigerate 20-30 minutes. Repeat with second box of jello, letting the mixture cool a few minutes before carefully pouring the warm mixture over the top of the set jello. Repeat with third and then fourth box of jello. Chill until well set. Cut into finger-sized pieces and serve!

Tips:

  • Use fresh fruit: Fresh fruit will give your finger jello a more vibrant color and flavor. If you're using frozen fruit, thaw it completely before using.
  • Don't overmix the jello: Overmixing the jello will make it tough. Mix it just until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Chill the jello completely before layering: This will help to prevent the layers from mixing together.
  • Use a variety of colors and flavors: This will make your finger jello more visually appealing and delicious.
  • Get creative with your decorations: You can use whipped cream, sprinkles, or fresh fruit to decorate your finger jello.

Conclusion:

Layered finger jello is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With a few simple tips, you can create a beautiful and delicious finger jello that will impress your friends and family. So next time you're looking for a fun and festive dessert, give layered finger jello a try!
