1/2 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
1 head cabbage, chopped in small pieces
6 gren onion scallions, chopped
1 cup cucumber, quartered and sliced
1 cup sesame seeds, toasted
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles, broken in small pieces
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon herbox beef bouillon granules or 1 teaspoon herbox chicken bouillon granule

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, toss togehter vegetables.
  • In a jar with lid add all dressing ingredients.
  • Refrigerate.
  • When ready to serve mix all ingredients together and serve.

2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
1 head napa cabbage, clean and chop
1 bunch green onion, chop
1/3 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup almonds
2 packages ramen noodles
1 tablespoon oil

Steps:

  • Combine soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and oil in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  • Remove from heat and cool.
  • (Can be made a day in advance,) Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Break up Ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets or save them for another use).
  • Saute noodles, almonds and sesame seeds in oil until they brown.
  • Stir often.
