1/4 cup butter, cubed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk or half-and-half cream

6 hard-boiled large eggs, sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed potato chips

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring 1/2 in. of water to a boil. Add asparagus; cover and boil for 3 minutes or until crisp-tender.
