Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef: For a moist and flavorful meatloaf, use a combination of ground chuck and ground sirloin.
  • Don't overwork the meat: Overworking the meat will make the meatloaf tough. Mix the ingredients together just until they are combined.
  • Use a slow cooker liner: A slow cooker liner will make cleanup a breeze. Simply lift the liner out of the slow cooker and discard it after cooking.
  • Don't add too much liquid: Meatloaf should be moist, but not soggy. Add just enough liquid to keep the meatloaf from drying out.
  • Cook the meatloaf on low: Cooking the meatloaf on low will help to keep it moist and juicy.
  • Let the meatloaf rest before slicing: Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This will help the meatloaf to hold its shape.
