Steps:
- Place all of the ingredients into the blender, including the oil and the non-stick spray.
- Use less water for thicker milk shakes and more water for shakes that are easy on the blender motor. The blender should be about 3/4's full.
- Place the lid on. Process for a full 2 minutes. Pour into cups and serve.
- Variations:.
- Add 1 tablespoon of instant coffee for a mocha shake.
- Add 1 very ripe banana for a chocolate banana shake.
- Add a big spoonful of peanut butter for a decandent Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake.
- Add a few broken red and white candy mints for a refreshing Chocolate Mint shake.
- To make a vanilla Milk Shake, omit the cocoa powder, reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup and add 1 Tablespoon (yes a full tablespoon) of vanilla flavoring. For a french vanilla milk shake crack in an egg too.
- *** Splenda can be used in this recipe. It is measure for measure.

Steps:
- Place everything in a blender and blend 3-4 minutes. Place in a glass. I put mine in the freezer for 4-5 minutes. Drink carefully as it will give you a brain freeze.
- If you like strawberry shakes, try substituting the chocolate mix with cheesecake and use frozen unsweetened strawberries in the place of the ice.
- Or pistachio pudding mix, with frozen unsweetened pineapple and 1 tsp of coconut extract (sort of like a pina colada).
- Or banana cream pudding FF/SF of course, ½ a banana, 10 ice cubes, and of course Fat Free Cool Whip.
Tips:
- For a thicker milkshake, use frozen bananas instead of fresh bananas.
- If you don't have any chocolate ice cream, you can use vanilla ice cream and add some chocolate syrup.
- To make the milkshake even more decadent, add a scoop of peanut butter or Nutella.
- For a refreshing twist, add a splash of mint extract or a few drops of peppermint oil.
- Garnish the milkshake with whipped cream, chocolate chips, or a cherry.
