Tips:

  • Prep your ingredients in advance: Chop your vegetables, mince your garlic, and measure your sauces and seasonings before you start cooking. This will help you save time and ensure that your stir-fry is cooked evenly.
  • Use a hot wok or large skillet: This will help your food cook quickly and evenly. If your wok or skillet is not hot enough, your food will steam instead of stir-frying.
  • Stir-fry in small batches: Don't overcrowd your wok or skillet. If you do, your food will not cook evenly. Stir-fry your food in small batches, adding more as each batch is cooked.
  • Use a spatula to stir-fry, not a spoon: A spatula will help you to toss and stir the food more easily. A spoon will not be as effective and could damage your wok or skillet.
  • Don't overcook your vegetables: Vegetables should still be slightly crisp when they are done cooking. If you overcook them, they will become mushy.
  • Add your sauce at the end of cooking: This will help to prevent the sauce from burning. If you add your sauce too early, it could burn and ruin the flavor of your dish.

Conclusion:

Mandarin shrimp and vegetable stir-fry is a quick, easy, and delicious meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It is packed with fresh vegetables, succulent shrimp, and a flavorful mandarin orange sauce. The tips above will help you make the best mandarin shrimp and vegetable stir-fry possible.
