GRILLED PEPPER JACK BACON BURGER SANDWICHES WITH JALAPEƱOS

Grilled Pepper Jack Bacon Burger Sandwiches with JalapeƱos image

A burger with bacon, pepper jack, and jalapenos... full of flavor is an understatement. The burger patty itself is seasoned perfectly and jam-packed with flavor and bacon. Stuffing the burger inside a pepper jack and jalapeno grilled cheese makes this the ultimate burger. We used Texas Toast for the grilled cheese and it made this similar to a patty melt. A wonderful burger during grilling season.

Tips for Making the Perfect Grilled Cheese Sandwich:

  • Choose high-quality bread: Opt for thick, sturdy bread that can hold up to the fillings and won't get soggy easily. Good options include sourdough, French toast bread, and artisan bread.
  • Use a generous amount of butter: Butter adds flavor and helps the sandwich brown evenly. Spread it liberally on both sides of the bread before grilling.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: Cook the sandwich in a pan that is large enough to accommodate it without overcrowding. This will ensure that the sandwich cooks evenly and the cheese melts properly.
  • Cook the sandwich over medium heat: Medium heat is ideal for grilling cheese sandwiches. It allows the bread to brown and the cheese to melt without burning either one.
  • Flip the sandwich only once: Flipping the sandwich too often can cause the cheese to ooze out and the bread to fall apart. Flip the sandwich only once, when the bottom side is golden brown.
  • Add extra flavor with mix-ins: Feel free to experiment with different ingredients to add extra flavor to your grilled cheese sandwich. Popular options include bacon, avocado, tomato, and caramelized onions.
