The dessert is all gone but half of a pumpkin pie remains. This will be a new tradition at our Thanksgiving table. Serve with whipped cream.

Tips:

  • For the perfect pumpkin cakes, use fresh pumpkin puree. You can make your own by roasting and pureeing a pumpkin, or use canned pumpkin puree. Make sure to let the pumpkin puree cool completely before using it in the batter.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in tough cakes. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cakes in a preheated oven. This will help ensure that the cakes bake evenly.
  • Don't overbake the cakes. Overbaking can result in dry cakes. Bake the cakes for the amount of time specified in the recipe, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • For the praline sauce, use chopped pecans or walnuts. You can also use a mixture of nuts.
  • Cook the praline sauce over medium heat. This will help prevent the sauce from burning.
  • Stir the praline sauce constantly. This will help prevent the sauce from sticking to the pan.
  • Serve the pumpkin cakes warm with the praline sauce. You can also top the cakes with whipped cream or ice cream.

Conclusion:

These mini pumpkin cakes with praline sauce are a delicious and festive treat. They are perfect for fall gatherings, Halloween parties, or Thanksgiving dinner. The pumpkin cakes are moist and flavorful, and the praline sauce is rich and decadent. These cakes are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
