Tips for Making Miss Mary's Famous Apricot Casserole:

  • Use fresh apricots for the best flavor. If fresh apricots are not available, you can substitute frozen or canned apricots. If using frozen apricots, thaw them completely before using.
  • Be sure to drain the apricots well before adding them to the casserole. This will help to prevent the casserole from becoming too watery.
  • Use a good quality vanilla extract. It will make a big difference in the flavor of the casserole.
