4 slices bacon
1 onion, diced
2 (28 ounce) cans baked beans
3 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup diced tomatoes
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon dry mustard
½ cup chopped cooked ham

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place bacon and onions in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl combine beans, molasses, mustard, salt, tomatoes, brown sugar, dry mustard, ham, onions and crumbed bacon. Mix well and transfer to a 2 quart casserole dish.

Four 14-ounce cans pork and beans
1/2 cup dark molasses
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan, leaving the drippings, and drain it on paper towels. Crumble and set aside.

6 oz cured salt pork, cut into 4 pieces
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
3 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup condensed tomato soup (from 10 ¾-oz can)
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons molasses
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard

Steps:

  • In 5-quart Dutch oven, heat 8 cups water and beans to boiling over medium-high heat. Boil uncovered 2 minutes. Remove from heat; let stand 1 hour; drain.

1 pound dried red beans
3 quarts water
1 bay leaf
1 ½ pounds boneless pork shoulder, cut into 2-inch cubes
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 cup barbecue sauce
½ cup ketchup
⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 ½ cups reserved bean cooking liquid
6 slices thick-cut bacon

Steps:

  • Add dry beans to a bowl, cover with water, and let soak for 8 hours, or overnight.

4 slices bacon
3 tablespoons drippings
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 (16 ounce) cans pork and beans in tomato sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons catsup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard

Steps:

  • Cook bacon till crisp.
  • Remove bacon, reserving about 3 Tbsp drippings in skillet. Drain and crumble bacon; set aside. Cook chopped onion in reserved drippings till tender.
  • Stir in two cans pork and beans in tomato sauce, brown sugar, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, and prepared mustard.
  • Turn into a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours, or cook in the microwave oven on HI for 10 to 12 minutes.
