Hamburger, tomato soup, green beans and mashed potatoes--sounds gross! You will be surprised, this is really good!! This is an old recipe, I remember my mom making it over 30 years ago. There is not much you have to add to make it a meal, maybe some buttered bread.

Tips:
- Choose the right ground beef: For the best flavor, use 80/20 ground beef. This means that the meat is 80% lean and 20% fat. The fat will help to keep the burgers juicy and flavorful.
- Don't overwork the meat: When you mix the ground beef, do it gently. Overworking the meat will make the burgers tough.
- Season the meat well: Be generous with the salt and pepper. You can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika.
- Form the burgers gently: Use your hands to gently form the meat into patties. Don't press down on the patties too hard, or they will be tough.
- Cook the burgers over medium heat: This will help to prevent the burgers from burning on the outside and staying raw on the inside.
- Don't flip the burgers too often: Flip the burgers only once, when they are cooked about halfway through. This will help to keep the juices inside the burgers.
- Let the burgers rest before serving: Once the burgers are cooked, let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the burgers.
Conclusion:
Hamburger pie is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a hearty and satisfying dish that the whole family will love. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give hamburger pie a try.
