2 stick butter
8 hershey 5 cent candy bars (12 1/2 ozs.)
2 c sugar
4 eggs
1 c buttermilk
2 1/2 c flour
1/4 tsp soda
1 c pecans, chopped
2 tsp vanilla extract

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter in Mircrowave for 2 minutes. Soften Hershey Candy Bars by adding to hot butter.
  • 2. Add sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients with buttermilk.
  • 3. Add vanilla and Pecans. Bake in greased and floured tube pan or bundt pan. Bake 70 - 80 minutes at 325°.
  • 4. No Icing needed!

1 c all purpose flour
SIFT TOGETHER
1 c sugar (i use splenda blend)
1/2 c hershey's cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
4 Tbsp crisco or shortening
1 c boiling water
1 tsp baking soda
THEN ADD
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 beaten egg

Steps:

  • 1. Make a hole in the sifted ingredients, add 4TBs Crisco...Pour 1C. BOILING water to which 1tsp Baking soda has been added into the ingredients. Mix but DO NOT beat, then add:
  • 2. 1tsp Vanilla Extract 1 Beaten Egg
  • 3. Mix in, but don't beat.
  • 4. Bake 35~45min at 350^ Makes about 1 1/2 dozen cup cakes or small sheet cake. Double for 3 dozen cup cakes or large pan.

1 (18 ounce) box chocolate cake mix (I use Swiss or regular.)
3 eggs
1 cup oil
1 cup milk
1 instant vanilla pudding
1 (12 ounce) container Cool Whip
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
4 hershey chocolate bars with almonds, grated
1/2 cup pecans

Steps:

  • Mix first 5 ingredients and bake at 350 in 4 round cake pans.
  • (I just used 2 cake pans twice. Who has four cake pans?) Bake according to cake mix directions.
  • Mix frosting ingredients together and add 4 grated Hershey bars with almonds and ½ cup pecans.
  • Ice between layers, top and sides.

8 -9 ounces plain hershey chocolate candy bars
1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (sifted)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts (your preference)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Grease and flour a tube pan.
  • Melt Hershey bars.
  • Dissolve soda in buttermilk. Set aside.
  • Cream sugar and margarine. Add to melted candy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
