RAISIN GRAVY FOR HAM
I adopted this recipe from the Recipezaar account. The original poster noted that it is really sweet and good on baked ham. I prepared it for my Easter ham and found it to be sweet with a slight tang from the mustard. I used a powerful, dry, ground mustard and liked the contrast of the bite with the sweetness of the other ingredients.

Tips:
- Choose the right ham: Select a fully cooked ham or a spiral-cut ham for easier slicing. A bone-in ham will provide more flavor, but a boneless ham is easier to carve.
- Use a sharp knife: A sharp knife will help you get clean, even slices of ham.
- Score the ham: Scoring the ham will help the glaze penetrate the meat and create a more flavorful crust.
- Make the glaze in advance: The glaze can be made up to 2 days ahead of time. This will give the flavors a chance to develop.
- Baste the ham regularly: Basting the ham with the glaze will help keep it moist and prevent it from drying out.
- Let the ham rest before carving: Let the ham rest for 15-20 minutes before carving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat.
