BUTTER RING ICING
This is one of my favorite flavored icings I use on my butter rings, sweet rolls, etc. It's great on My Bake Sale Butter Rings, recipe #122275. Coffee and almond make a great taste combination. Liquid measurements are approximate, so start with small amounts of coffee and add more to suit your consistency preferences.

Tips:
- Prep before baking: Before starting, ensure all your ingredients are at room temperature, and your oven is preheated to the correct temperature.
- Chill the dough before baking: Rolling and shaping the dough can be easier when chilled, as it's less sticky and holds its shape better.
- Cut the rings evenly: Use a sharp knife or pastry cutter to ensure clean, even cuts when shaping the rings.
- Use parchment paper: Line your baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent the rings from sticking and for easy cleanup.
- Watch the baking time: Keep an eye on the rings while baking, as they can quickly overcook. Remove them from the oven as soon as they're golden brown.
- Let the rings cool before glazing: Allow the rings to cool slightly before glazing them to prevent the glaze from melting and running off.
- Decorate as desired: Get creative with your decorations! You can sprinkle colored sugar, chopped nuts, or even edible glitter on the glazed rings while they're still wet.
