Number Of Ingredients 15

2 pounds ground beef
2 cloves garlic, chopped
One 8-ounce can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup masa harina

Tips:

  • Use a variety of beans. This will give your chili a more complex flavor and texture. Some good options include kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, and Great Northern beans.
  • Don't skimp on the spices. Chili is a dish that should be full of flavor, so don't be afraid to add plenty of spices. Some essential chili spices include chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Brown the meat. Browning the meat before adding it to the chili will help to develop its flavor and give the chili a richer color.
  • Simmer the chili for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop. The longer you simmer the chili, the better it will taste.
  • Serve the chili with your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings include shredded cheese, sour cream, diced onions, and chopped cilantro.

Chili is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It's a great meal for a cold winter day or a casual get-together with friends and family. With so many different recipes to choose from, you're sure to find a chili recipe that you love. So next time you're looking for a hearty and flavorful meal, give chili a try.
