Tips:

  • Soften butter properly: Make sure the butter is softened to room temperature before mixing it with the other ingredients. This will ensure that it blends smoothly and creates a uniform batter.
  • Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your oatmeal scotchies will be. Look for bananas with a bright yellow peel and no green streaks.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined, then stop.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking: Chilling the dough will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies until the edges are golden brown: The centers of the cookies should still be slightly soft when you take them out of the oven.

Nestlé Oatmeal Scotchiest are a delicious and easy-to-make cookie that is perfect for any occasion.
