Tips:
- Use a heavy saucepan: This will help to prevent the caramel from burning.
- Cook the caramel slowly: Do not rush the process, or the caramel will not have time to develop its full flavor.
- Stir the caramel constantly: This will help to prevent it from burning and ensure that it cooks evenly.
- Do not overcook the caramel: Once it has reached a deep amber color, remove it from the heat immediately.
- Let the caramel cool slightly before adding it to the ice cream base: This will help to prevent the ice cream from curdling.
- Use high-quality ice cream ingredients: This will ensure that your ice cream has the best possible flavor.
- Churn the ice cream according to the manufacturer's instructions: This will ensure that the ice cream is properly frozen and has a smooth texture.
- Store the ice cream in the freezer for at least 4 hours before serving: This will allow the flavors to develop and the ice cream to firm up.
