5 cups pre-cooked farfalle pasta
1/2 cup cubed roma tomato
2 tablespoons diced red onion
kosher salt, and cracked pepper to taste
2 ounces baby fresh spinach
Shaved Parmesan Cheese
FRESCA SAUCE
1/8 cup fresh garlic
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
1/8 cup sweet white wine
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Sauté Instructions: In a very hot sauté pan, add: extra virgin olive oil, pre-cooked farfalle (bow-tie pasta), roma tomatoes, diced red onions, kosher salt & cracked pepper. Sear noodles, stirring occasionally until steaming hot. Add: baby fresh spinach, and Fresca Sauce. Toss to combine, serve with freshly shaved parmesan cheese. Tips:

  • Use the right flour: Different types of pasta require different types of flour. All-purpose flour is a good choice for most pasta, but you can also use semolina flour for a more traditional Italian pasta.
  • Make sure your dough is the right consistency: The dough should be smooth and elastic, but not too sticky. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour. If the dough is too dry, add more water.
  • Rest the dough before rolling it out: This will help the dough to relax and make it easier to roll out.
  • Roll out the dough thinly: The thinner the dough, the more tender the pasta will be.
  • Cut the pasta into the desired shape: You can use a knife, a pasta cutter, or a pasta machine to cut the pasta into the desired shape.
  • Cook the pasta in boiling water: Add the pasta to a large pot of boiling water and cook according to the package directions.
  • Drain the pasta and serve: Once the pasta is cooked, drain it in a colander and serve it with your favorite sauce.

Conclusion:

Making fresh pasta at home is a fun and rewarding experience. With a little practice, you'll be able to make delicious pasta that will impress your friends and family. So what are you waiting for? Get started today!
