1 1/2 cups dry oatmeal
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup raisins (optional) or 1/4 cup nuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  • Grease 8x8 pan.
  • Combine all ingredients with mixer.
  • Press into pan.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Cool and cut into bars.
