Tips:
- Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients prepped and measured. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling during the cooking process.
- Choose the Right Chicken: For this recipe, you'll want to use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. If you're using breasts, pound them to an even thickness so they cook evenly.
- Don't Overcook the Chicken: Chicken can easily become dry and tough if it's overcooked. Cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) as measured with a meat thermometer.
- Make the Salsa Ahead of Time: The Spanish olive picadillo salsa can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This makes it a great option for meal prep or when you're short on time.
