Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 stick butter
1 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp garlic powder
4 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 c corn chex cereal
2 c rice chex cereal
2 c wheat chex cereal
1 1/2 c salted mixed nuts
1 1/2 c pretzel sticks
* i have also just used 6 cups of my favorite chex cereal, instead of 2 cups of each.

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter in a large roaster pan, stir in seasoned salt, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • 2. Add cereal, nuts, and pretzels. Stir over low heat for 15 minutes, or until all pieces are coated.
  • 3. Cool on a baking sheet lined with paper towel. Store in a air tight container. Enjoy

Tips:

  • Use a variety of nuts and bolts. This will give your snack mix a more interesting flavor and texture. Some good options include peanuts, almonds, cashews, walnuts, pecans, and sunflower seeds. You can also add in some dried fruit, such as raisins, cranberries, or apricots.
  • Roast the nuts and bolts before adding them to the mix. This will help to bring out their flavor and make them more crunchy. To roast the nuts and bolts, spread them out on a baking sheet and bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  • Add in some spices. This will help to give your snack mix a more complex flavor. Some good options include salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. You can also add in some fresh herbs, such as parsley, basil, or thyme.
  • Mix everything together and enjoy! Once you have added all of the ingredients to your snack mix, give it a good stir to combine everything. Then, enjoy your delicious and healthy snack!

Conclusion:
