1/2 cup butter
2 cups fresh blackberries
1/3 cup sugar (for blackberries)
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar (additional for batter)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk

  • Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and salt; add milk and vanilla and mix to form a batter.
  • Pour batter directly into melted butter.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the cobbler will be. Use real butter, fresh fruit, and high-quality chocolate.

  • Use a deep baking dish: A deep baking dish will help to prevent the cobbler from boiling over.
  • Bake the cobbler until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling: This will ensure that the cobbler is cooked through.
  • Serve the cobbler warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream: This will make the cobbler even more delicious.
